Mary is a paediatrician and has always loved working with children. Recently she also brought the love of children into her home, with the birth of her son. "My love for him is endless. Infinite. Immeasurable." As a Mum, it is important to Mary, that she pass on to her family, a love of home grown produce and the importance of food provenance.
A passion for cooking + sharing this with family -
From a very young age Mary has experienced real joy through cooking, it was something she often shared with her mother. She loves creating new and wholesome recipes in the kitchen, something she feels is good for both body and soul. Now Mary also takes great pleasure in the opportunity to pass this passion onto her son.
The benefits of home grown -
"I believe that learning about food provenance, where it comes from and how it is grown, should start from a young age." Together with her husband, they have created a very impressive vegetable garden that grows a wide range of produce. Together their family spends lots of happy moments, tending to the plants and harvesting the produce that it yields. Whilst her son might not yet fully comprehend the growing process, he is learning through hands on experiences in the garden.
Sharing with family + friends -
Mary's passion for quality food often culminates in wonderful meals created for and shared with, her family and friends. Recently, Candid was absolutely spoiled by Mary as she prepared a range of delicious Christmas treats for us to use in our Christmas photography. Not only did the spread look delicious but it tasted absolutely amazing as well!!
Mary's Christmas treats were so wonderful that we thought it only fair to share them with you, our Candid Community. To do this, we have collaborated with Mary to share her 12 favourite Christmas recipes in the The Twelve days of Christmas Delicious Recipes Ideas eBook.
